CORNER GARDEN
Three of the first gardens to which visitors are exposed are the Corner, Victorian, and Orientation Gardens. These three gardens are composed primarily of annual plantings that complement the Victorian Gothic structure of the house and reflect a yearly theme. The designs of the beds and containers are changed yearly.
The Corner Garden is aptly named as it is the first garden visible from the corner of Babcock and Observatory Drives. Perennial PeeGee hydrangeas and yews anchor a bed of bulbs in the spring and sun-loving annuals through the summer.
