IBERIAN PENINSULA GARDEN

The Iberian Peninsula Garden is contiguous to the Alps Garden and runs along its western edge, therefore sharing the water feature. It features several species of low-growing thyme (Thymus spp.), which send up rose-pink flowers that carpet the garden in June. Here you can also find miniature alpine versions of many plants common to the perennial border such as columbine (Aquilegia spp.), allium and aster.
