Resources for Homeowners


Horticulture faculty and staff have many responsibilities, including teaching, extension programming, research, service, student training, and student advising. This makes for a very full schedule of activities, particularly during the growing season.

While answering questions is certainly part of our job, we kindly request that horticulture questions be first directed to your local county Extension office, where it is their mission to answer these homeowner "gardening" type questions. If you do not live in Wisconsin, you should first contact your local county office in your home state. The experts in the county Extension offices will try to get you on the right track, and may further direct your calls to professionals in our office or others.
